About the Role:
Little Dreamers Learning Center Inc is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team in Montgomery, AL! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our youngest learners during their most formative years. Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-driven lesson plans for toddlers
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding child progress
- Supervise toddlers during daily activities, meals, and rest time
- Keep accurate developmental records and daily reports for each child
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or early childhood education coursework preferred
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
- Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and best practices
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patient, compassionate, and energetic demeanor with a genuine love for children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
