About the role
- The focus of this position is community development and building an alliance structure between ABCFM, 100 Families, and the Drew County community. All actions taken in this role are geared towards the best interest of clients and strengthening the family unit, connecting clients with resources that will provide needed life skills and resources - all with a Christ centered focu
What you'll do
- Represent Arkansas Baptist Children and Family Ministries and clearly communicate the various service areas available and how a community member can get involved in ABCFM’s mission to build, strengthen and restore families.
- Organize and facilitate monthly alliance meetings as an opportunity for the community to hear progress updates on the 100 Families Initiative and to connect with other service providers and government agencies in their community.
- Act as an expert in the 100 Families model and processes, providing support to 100 Families Alliance Partners in their execution of the 100 Families Model
- Collect and analyze community-wide data, able to articulately present data and graphs to the community.
- Work closely with a community advocate and Connected Families staff on the ABCFM Monticello campus.
- Produce regular updates and reports for publications and grant requirements.
- Develop and maintain trust and positive relationships with Restore Hope partners and stakeholders.
- Form new partnerships and recruit members of the community to serve in ABCFM’s mission and assist in the 100 Families Model as Point of Contact Providers
- Advocate for individuals and families
- Participate in ABCFM and 100 Families meetings and trainings.
- Promote organization and community collaboration.
- Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with the professional standards of ABCFM and Restore Hope
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higer in human service field.
- Five (5) years’ work experience in a human services field preferred
