About the Role:

The Panela Processing Associate LV2 plays a critical role in the production and quality assurance of panela, a traditional unrefined whole cane sugar product. This position is responsible for overseeing the processing stages to ensure that the final product meets established quality and safety standards. The associate will work closely with production teams to monitor equipment, manage raw materials, and maintain optimal processing conditions. Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations are paramount to guarantee product consistency and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes to the efficient operation of the panela production line, supporting the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality natural sweeteners to the market.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of food processing or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sugar processing or related food production.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, to facilitate communication in diverse teams.
