This Director will provide administrative direction to the multi-disciplinary care centers at White Memorial and Frankfort Hospitals with an emphasis on quality management and enhanced customer service. The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care and is accountable for the initiation and completion of business and unit plans that ensure quality while utilizing available resources efficiently. This position is accountable for alignment of the care center vision with the organization mission, values and excellence goals (people, service, financial, clinical). May be responsible for 24-hour accountability and will require quarterly travel to other facilities.

Reports to: Vice President- Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, Critical Access Hospital

Direct Reports: 3 Managers

 

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

 

Education and Experience

  • Masters of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
