Candidates are required to have an Associate Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education, with RDCS registry preferred.

The role involves performing highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology performs a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures through the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves. Functions within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and the hospital policy and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Associate Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related health care field; RDCS registry preferred. BLS Training required.

EXPERIENCE
1 year experience cardiac ultrasound minimum.
