Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? As a Life Enrichment Coordinator / LNA at Woodridge, you'll play a vital role in creating vibrant and meaningful experiences for our residents. You'll design and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse interests and needs, fostering a sense of community and well-being.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm with occasional weekend rotation.

Some responsibilities will include:

  • Innovative Programming: Developing and executing creative activities that promote physical, mental, and social health.
  • Personalized Care: Tailoring activities to individual preferences and abilities, ensuring everyone feels valued and included.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges and conflicts with empathy and effective solutions.
  • Proactive Approach: Identifying opportunities for improvement and taking initiative to enhance the resident experience.
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining the utmost discretion in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, combined with a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting. An associate’s degree in a related field, such as music, art, or recreation therapy, is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: A deep understanding of the aging process and a passion for working with older adults. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in healthcare or a related field.
