As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for growing a new territory in the Montrose area by providing consulting and sales services to current and prospective clients. Our ideal candidate will possess the skills to generate new business with a potential opportunity to develop and manage a team.


Responsibilities

  • Attends initial and ongoing training on company products, business and sales techniques.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers/clients and proactively develops new customer relationships.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to solicit current or future opportunities.
  • Manages current customer clientele providing monthly/quarterly reviews, best practices recommendations, areas for improvement, status reports, service reports and leasing/service contract data.
  • Evaluates customers’ business scenarios, qualifies customers’ needs and develops solutions.
  • Works closely with clients during all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Maintains all data regarding sales calls, forecasts business and customer files in the company provided CRM.
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate personal and corporate goals.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and coordinates all follow-up.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and expense reimbursements.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or four years prior business to business experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
