The Financial Analyst role is instrumental to winning and retaining clients. This role handles all finance related aspects of a Request for Proposal (RFP), market check, or renewal requests, generating the financial offer and addressing questions with minimal guidance.
 Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop financial underwriting models and solutions that will help build strategic dialogue with clients and prospects
- Collaborate with internal customers to develop analytic models, methodologies, and reports to meet client and advisor needs
- Interact with multi-functional areas, including operations, sales, proposals, marketing, clinical and account management to design and support internal reporting, financial strategies, account level underwriting, reporting and financial modeling
- Ensure and manage all clients are set up according to agreed terms and conditions
- Conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide insight into existing program performance and product utilization; communicate program savings and ROI
- Work collaboratively across all other EmpiRx departments to effectively communicate and meet the organization’s analytic needs
- Prioritize competing requests to ensure focus on highest impact activities
- Be an active participant in the development of corporate and financial strategies, business planning, pharmacy benefits pricing strategies, client reporting, data analytics, growth strategies, etc.
Education Requirements:
- Associates Degree (Mandatory)
- 2+ years of general finance, FP&A and/or underwriting experience (Mandatory) Ability to prioritize competing requests to ensure focus on highest impact activities
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- Specialization in mathematics, statistics, or finance (Preferred)Â
- Expert in MS Excel
- Excellent attention to details and strong aptitude for mathematics and analyzing data
- Strong written and verbal skills, and ability to present to senior executives
- Ability to multi-task and work to meet deadlines; adapt and be flexible in a complex changing environment
- Knowledge and proficiency in use of Tableau/Domo or similar reporting tools
- Experience in PBM or Health Plan or Insurance preferred
- Underwriting or Pricing experience preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM tool preferred
- Masters Degree a plus

 The expected salary range for this New Jersey position is between $67,000 and $84,000. Total earnings may also include various incentive options. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, education,  geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Subject to program eligibility, this position qualifies for a robust suite of benefits including: Paid Time Off, a 401(k) program, Health Insurance including Dental & Vision coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Health Savings Account, and an Employee Assistance Program.
