Join our clinician-led team as a confident, growth-minded Occupational Pediatric Therapist

At The New Jersey Doctors of Physical Therapy, we are the largest PT-owned practice in the state and are recognized by our patients as the 5-Star Standard for Physical Therapy Care.

We offer the opportunity to earn $120,000+, with total compensation valued up to $130,000+ including benefits, supported by structured mentorship, clinical development, and a clear growth path within an independently operated practice.

NJDPT offers a long-term career path without the high-volume feel of many corporate outpatient models. Our clinicians typically treat 1–2 patients per hour, allowing time for individualized care, clinical growth, and work-life balance.

As our Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with an experienced team of Doctors of Physical Therapy while bringing your pediatric occupational therapy expertise to our interdisciplinary practice.
This is a unique opportunity to help build and grow NJDPT's pediatric occupational therapy program while developing your own pediatric caseload within an established, clinician-led practice, including opportunities to support children with autism and other developmental conditions.

Our Mentorship Program

  • Dedicated 1:1 mentorship sessions and clinical collaboration with an experienced team of highly credentialed clinicians
  • Intentional mentor matching and access across a wide range of clinical expertise
  • Development of clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and patient-care skills needed to practice at the full scope of the profession
  • Strengthen your ability to evaluate, assess, and make sound clinical decisions
  • Develop decision-making grounded in best evidence, provider expertise, and patient values
  • Expand your clinical lens through exposure to imaging, diagnostics, and lab data
  • Participate in advanced case discussions, treatment roundtables, and meaningful clinical collaboration

  • Growth supported through NJDPT’s Ascend Compensation Model, which recognizes clinical development, professional growth, mentorship, leadership, and meaningful contributions to the practice

  • IRA: Vanguard retirement plan with employer match

Schedule & Caseload

  • 1–2 patients per hour — a sustainable model, not high-volume care
  • Flexible full-time scheduling options
  • Option to design a 3-, 4-, or 5-day workweek
  • 4 weeks PTO

Development

  • In-person CEU courses with industry experts + MedBridge access
