Job DetailsJob Location: 984 Norwich Turnpike JC - Uncasville, CT 06382Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School/GEDSalary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyJob Shift: VariesJob Category: Residential AidePosition: Residential Aide Program: January Center Location: Uncasville Salary: $20.00/hour Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday (3-11p) and 1st shift, Friday (7-3p)   Program Summary: Adult men under the supervision of the Department of Correction or the Court Support Services Division receive residential treatment to address a history of problematic sexual behavior. In addition to treatment, clients are supported with psycho-educational and case management services. The program’s primary goal is to promote positive behavioral change and reduce the risk of reoffending.   Position Summary: This Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved Men/Women as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
