Position: Mechanical Designer III
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

Hours of work: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours/Week: Preferred hours are 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM


The Mechanical Designer III will prepare detailed drawings and bills of material for all equipment products, perform vessel and piping design functions, and prepare Submittal and O&M documents.
The Mechanical Designer III will also review project and specifications and check drawings.


 
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Attend weekly staff meetings and project kick off meetings
  • Prepare transmittal's, Submittals and O&Ms
  • Review project and vendor specifications.
  • Check drawings and documents
  • Use the latest version of AutoCAD to design & produce detailed 3D drawings
  • Increase knowledge of products from peers, plant visits and managers.

Qualifications

 

  • Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required
  • A Driver’s License is required
  • 2-3 years of Auto CAD 3D experience is required
  • 3-5 years of Mechanical drafting & design experience is required
  • 3-5 years Piping design experience is required
