Pediatrician

UPMC Children’s Express Care is looking for a part-time pediatrician to work in an outpatient setting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP) operates UPMC Children’s Express Care. CCP is the largest pediatric primary care network in Western and Central Pennsylvania, - with over 300,000 patients annually and 65+ locations.  UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics & UPMC Children’s Express care of part of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.  All locations have received a Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission and is a certified Primary Care Medical Home.  Learn more at ChildrensPeds.com. 

About the position:

UPMC Children’s Express Care (CEC) provides after-hours, acute care throughout Western and Central Pa. UPMC Children’s Express Care is an extension of the PCP office and is designed to provide the same care a patient should receive from their Primary Care Office.  Each Express Care does have access to basic radiology services for providers to refer to.  We have CLIA licensed labs that provides waived testing.

  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- Moon
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- Wexford
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- South Fayette
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- Washington
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care -Shadyside
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- Lawrenceville
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- Erie
  • UPMC Children’s Express Care- Monroeville
• These positions will be part-time and require working 5 sessions per week (a session is 4 hours), 4 weeks of PTO, and 7 holidays.
• No call
• Target start date of January 2022
