We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing interdisciplinary team. Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled physical therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based, child- and family-centered practices to improve mobility, strength, coordination, functional independence, and participation in everyday activities.
Responsibilities

- Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy interventions that support each child's functional goals and developmental progress.
- Monitor patient performance during treatment sessions and communicate progress, concerns, and recommendations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Build positive relationships with children and families through education, encouragement, and ongoing communication.
- Maintain a full-time caseload that may include children receiving services through insurance, private pay, consultation, and school-based contracts.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, physicians, educators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation that reflects medical necessity and complies with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with supervising physical therapist assistant students as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure within six (6) months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively while meeting documentation and productivity expectations.
- Commitment to evidence-based, family-centered pediatric care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
