Job DetailsJob Location: Neats Service Center - Dunnville, KY 42528Job Summary: A Truck Repair Technician specializes in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing trucks to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation while minimizing downtime and supporting compliance with applicable safety standards. Duties: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks, including oil changes, brake checks, suspension repairs, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks  Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment  Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, clutches, radiators, and electrical systems  Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations  Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records  Collaborate with other mechanics, service staff, and drivers to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and vehicle care education  Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry standards  Other duties as needed Requirements: A Certified Diesel Technician is desirable, but not necessary Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities  Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, and vehicle hydraulics  Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and repair equipment  Must stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry standards  Attention to detail and commitment to safety  Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and work in various positions  Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and drivers  Work Environment The role may involve exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and varying weather conditions, such as heat and cold temperatures.
