Job Description

Full-Time Monday-Friday 

Locations:  Moorestown

Position Summary
The MRI Technologist Aide supports MRI technologists and radiology staff in delivering safe, 
efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for assisting with patient preparation, 
maintaining MRI safety standards, facilitating workflow, and ensuring the imaging environment is 
clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Support
• Greet and escort patients to and from the MRI suite
• Assist patients with changing, positioning, and comfort during exams
• Help transfer patients safely (bed, stretcher, wheelchair, MRI table)
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients prior to exams
• Monitor patient condition and report concerns to the technologist

MRI Safety & Preparation
• Perform initial MRI safety screening and verify patient readiness
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety protocols (metal screening, zone access)
• Maintain awareness of MRI environment hazards and report concerns
• Assist with preparation of coils, immobilization devices, and exam setup

Workflow & Operational Support
• Prepare MRI rooms before each exam and reset between patients
• Clean and disinfect equipment and surfaces per infection control guidelines
• Maintain appropriate stock of linens, supplies, contrast materials, and coils
• Assist technologists with exam setup and throughput efficiency
• Support patient flow to minimize delays and maintain schedule integrity

Education
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of medical assistant, CNA, or radiology-related coursework preferr
