Position Overview:
The Enterprise Resource Planning & Software Developer will improve and scale our digital business systems. This person will provide system administration, configuration, custom reporting, data integrity efforts, and cross-functional process improvements. They will partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure the ERP accurately reflects real workflows and supports growth. A strong candidate will also have foundational coding skills in C# and JavaScript to build tools, integrations, automation, and lightweight applications around ERP and Microsoft environment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Administration

  • Serve as an administrator of Global Shop Solutions (GSS) including user accounts, permissions, modules, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize physical vs. digital processes including BOM/routing, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, production, quality, and costing.
  • Maintain data integrity across parts, routings, BOMs, UoM, costs, work centers, inventory locations, and vendor/customer records.
  • Assist in training efforts for new functionality, updated processes, and new hires.

Development & Integration

  • Develop lightweight tools, scripts, or services in C# and/or JavaScript to support automation, data cleaning/migration, and custom functionality.
  • Architect and deliver enterprise scale applications using Power Platform (Canvas, Model-driven, Power Automate, Power Pages, PCF, Generative Pages) integrated with Dataverse and external systems.
  • Build or maintain integrations between GSS and external systems (QMS/NCR systems, SharePoint/Power Automate, time clocks, barcode scanning, etc.)
  • Create custom APIs or connectors when needed to optimize efficiency.
  • Build and maintain scalable dashboards, automated reports, KPIs, and triggers to support real-time decision making.
  • Write PostgreSQL queries to extract and analyze data, generating actionable insights and presenting findings in Power Platform applications
  • Assist in data migration, system upgrades, and ensure that solutions are scalable and secure
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure alignment with strategy, compliance, and security policies
  •  Performs other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience in IT administration and/or software development, preferably in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security best practices and software implementation
  • Experience with automation and building systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Javascript are a plus
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint, Dataverse, API integration, Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dynamics 365, CoPilot Studio, and database management
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different internal departments
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.

Hours of Operation:

Normal business hours: 7:00AM – 4:00PM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as scheduled by leadership.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
  • Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
  • Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
