Job Summary

As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining software. This position requires someone with experience in DevSecOps, configuration management, deployment of software systems that use containers and Kubernetes. This position will include testing and maintaining a software code base for physics-based models and simulations. The applicant should be well versed in modern software practices and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform unit tests and bug tracking.
  • Develop pipelines and runners.
  • Maintain containers and Kubernetes.
  • Use configuration management software tools.
  • Use software development processes such as Agile.
  • Have excellent communication skills and thrive working in a dynamic team environment.
  • Support weekly meetings.
  • Document results.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Certified Computer Science or Engineering Degree
  • 0-10 Years' Experience
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.
  • Programming experience in Python, C/C++, and Matlab.
  • Experience with GIT, Gitlab, or DevOps (or similar) required.
  • Linux and Windows software development environments experience.
  • Experience with air and missile defense systems preferred.
