Work Shift:

8hr-1st Shift (United States of America)

The Warehouse & CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, loading and unloading materials, transporting finished goods, managing warehouse inventory, and supporting production and distribution activities. This position combines warehouse operations with CDL driving responsibilities to ensure efficient movement of raw materials and finished products while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standard.


  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with DOT regulations and company operating procedures.
  • Operate tractor trailers, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials and finished products are properly secured and transported according to customer specifications.
  • Transfer, store, and organize raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by assisting with inventory counts and proper material segregation by type and color.
  • Fill customer requisitions and shipment orders.
  • Verify bills of lading, trailer seals, and shipping documentation prior to transport.
  • Maintain trucks, trailers, forklifts, and warehouse equipment through inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and reporting repair needs.
  • Keep trucks, trailers, warehouse areas, and storage locations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Repack damaged containers and assist with material handling and packaging activities.
  • Assemble boxes and cartons and perform hand-packing duties as needed.
  • Maintain required DOT driver logs and operational records.
  • Support production operations by supplying raw materials to production lines as needed.
  • Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.




Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of licensed driving experience with a satisfactory driving record during the previous 3 years preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • OSHA Forklift Certification or ability to obtain certification.

$17.84 - $22.79
