We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Sterling, CT - someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly by maintaining a spotless, well-organized, and fully sanitized workspace from prep to finish.

WHAT YOU'LL FOCUS ON

 

 

Sanitation

Wash, sanitize, and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces to food-safe standards

Cleaning

Keep the MIPs kitchen clean and organized throughout every shift - floors, surfaces, and storage areas

Maintenance Support

Identify and report equipment or facility issues to keep the kitchen running smoothly

Prep Support

Assist kitchen staff with prep tasks, restocking supplies, and ensuring a seamless production flow

 

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize all kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, and tools to food-safe standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, prep stations, floors, and storage areas throughout each shift
  • Support kitchen prep staff by restocking clean equipment, supplies, and packaging materials as needed
  • Remove and dispose of waste and trash in compliance with facility protocols
  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the dish area
  • Assist with basic prep tasks and kitchen organization to ensure smooth production flow
  • Identify and promptly report any equipment issues, facility maintenance needs, or safety concerns
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), sanitation protocols, and GMP requirements
  • Maintain a consistent, reliable presence to support the kitchen team through every shift

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment throughout a full shift
  • Capable of repetitive bending, reaching, and physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow strict standard operating procedures in a regulated production environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented work ethic
  • Must be 18 years of age or older per Connecticut cannabis regulations

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, food service, or production environment ★ Preferred
  • Familiarity with food safety, sanitation standards, or ServSafe principles ★ Preferred
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing or cannabis facility
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a high-volume environment
