Job DetailsJob Location: Moraine, OH 45439Position Type: Full TimeJob Purpose Complete instructions and agendas from the Equipment Center Manager. General assistance will be provided by the Customer Service Coordinator. Essential Duties Pull, gather, secure, and load tool and material orders for specific projects. If you do not receive a printed transfer, make sure to make your own paper transfer. Unload, sort, put away, and determine the repair status of tools and materials returning from specific projects. Make sure all tools are checked and tagged if they need repair so they can be sent out and returned as soon as possible. Do not start on any other yard projects until a returning load has been processed. Pull, gather, and load tools and materials for employees that come directly to the Equipment Center. Unload tool and material deliveries from outside vendors. Maintain equipment center property cleanliness. This includes general trash cleanup and control of weeds, as well as keeping surrounding fencing clear of obstructions. Practice the weekly habit of walk-throughs to make sure the yard is in place and cleaned up. Maintain organization and cleanliness of buildings and general yard storage areas. Report all maintenance and repair needs for equipment and/or yard property issues to the Equipment Center Manager. Maintain proper paperwork and transfers with the Customer Service Coordinator. If the job or driver provides no paperwork, be certain to make a transfer as soon as possible. Be sure to note when excessive damage or abuse has occurred. Maintain safe working practices in accordance with company policy. Attend mandatory safety meetings typically held on Monday mornings. Maintain yard loading equipment, check fluids, grease and report any repair issues to the Equipment Center Manager.   This Job description is not all-inclusive. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate and understand different complex requirements of various project types and to work with different personality types.   Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.  Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations  Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.  Motor Vehicle report required. Physical Demands: Medium amount of physical exertion. Medium manual dexterity or physical manipulation. Medium level of physical stamina and endurance.  May need to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. Maintain regular and punctual attendance, work overtime as assigned, work in cold, hot, dusty, loud environments, and comply with all company policies and procedures including safety.
