Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments, examinations, and follow-up care for cardiology patients
Assist in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans
Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited PA program
Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in NC
BLS and ACLS certification required
1+ year of experience in Cardiology or Internal Medicine preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotations in cardiology will be considered)
Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
