What You Will Do
As a maintenance professional placed through Turner Staffing Group, you will support site operations by performing a wide range of mechanical maintenance and repair activities. Responsibilities include:

Performing routine and corrective maintenance activities
-
Developing effective solutions for a variety of mechanical and maintenance situations
-
Completing work orders and required maintenance documentation accurately and timely
-
Training and mentoring maintenance personnel as needed
-
Performing additional duties as assigned to support site operations
What You Bring
-
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in one or more of the following crafts:
-
Machinist
-
Line Boring
-
Welding
-
Boilermaker
-
-
Demonstrated completion of required academic and practical competencies
-
Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to apply technical knowledge and skills in the field
-
Ability to pass written and/or practical assessments related to technical skills, knowledge, and safety, as required
-
Proficiency in welding and cutting processes
-
Ability to safely operate the following equipment:
-
11”, 20”, 24”, and 32” lathes
-
Vertical and horizontal milling machines
-
Marvel band saw
-
Drill press
-
-
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written work and safety instructions in English
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English regarding job assignments, procedures, and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Experience working on Komatsu electric shovels (4100XPA, 4100XPB/C, 4100XPC/AC)
-
Experience working on Epiroc diesel drills (PV271, PV271XC)
Compensation & Benefits

Estimated pay range: $27.00 – $37.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, if required

Successful completion of all required training and testing

Willingness to work non-standard schedules, including shift work, in a 24/7, 365-day operation
