Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician II who can apply engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for global Regulatory compliance involving EMC/RF for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. Performs testing of the latest cellular (4G/5G) and unlicensed (WIFI/BT/etc.) technologies to determine FCC (US) and ISED (Canada), and other global regulatory body compliance.

 

Payrate: $32-37/hr

Responsibilities

• Performs and analyze EMC/RF testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications• Compiling and reporting test results using MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat• Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards• Work in a team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies, reporting, coordination of various tasks, etc• Maintain laboratory test methods and test equipment

Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree or commensurate with experience• Must be customer-focused, organized, good communication skills, fast learner, team player, and detail-oriented• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and computer literate• Wireless/EMC/RF/Laboratory environment experience preferred• Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently• Must have the motivation, initiative and eagerness to learn• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
