Transportation Supervisor

Wage - $50,000 Annual Salary

Schedule – Full-Time, 8hr shifts, Monday thru Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for supervision of transportation in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions: 

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise the administrative and programmatic activities of the department.
2. Identify and recommend establishments as off-limits that contribute to negative student behavior; ensure student's activities are monitored in the communities.
3. Act as liaison with federal agencies (GSA and DOL) to requisition vehicles for center use and ensure drivers are properly licensed.
4. Plan and coordinate with center staff pertaining to transportation needs and activities.
5. Develop and implement orientation and in-service training programs for staff to ensure safe driving practices.
6. Develop and monitor schedule for drivers to ensure student transportation needs are being met; ensure drivers are properly licensed.
7. Ensure student transportation needs are met throughout enrollment to include job shadowing, work-based learning, and job interviews, etc.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

• Associate’s degree preferred and two (2) years related experience.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. 
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL license with an acceptable driving record.
• Passenger endorsement preferred.
