Materials Buyer/Planner

Responsibilities:

• Manual order entry
• Hit List- monitor supplier shipments and deliveries
• Communicate with suppliers by email or phone if issues arise
• Monitor email multiple times daily for supplier ASN’s
• Manage Problem Communications (PCs) and provide supporting documents
• Adjust rubber inventories
• Run MRP/Vendor Scheduling weekly and back up
• Track and manage overseas shipments
• Shipping and customer service back up
• Manage and keep in contact with Logistics Freight Forwarder
• Manage and issue AETC’s for expedite pick up and deliveries
• Review freight bills for errors from logistics company
• Maintain supplier release files

Qualifications:

• One to three months related experience and/ or training equivalent combination for education and experience.
• The ability to interpret customer requirements from written instructions. 
• Good attendance. 
• The ability to work in a team setting.
• Proficient computer skills. 
• Attention to detail.
