Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time
Location: Blue Ridge Medical Center – Blue Ridge, GA


The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA, to hire a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The CNA assists licensed nursing personnel by performing patient care activities and specific tasks under the direction of an RN or LPN, in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, philosophy, goals, and mission. Work is performed in compliance with established health system policies and reflects the values and mission of the Department of Nursing.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Completion of a formal Nursing Assistant Program at a vocational school or hospital

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current CPR (AHA Course) or successful completion within 30 days of hire

  • CNA certification required

Experience:

  • 1 year of hospital or medical experience preferred

General Duties:

  • Maintain patient confidentiality, including personal, financial, medical, and employment information

  • Develop and maintain nursing skills through participation in education programs

  • Remain flexible to meet the needs of patients, unit, and facility

  • Report to work on time and complete unit responsibilities in a timely manner

  • Assist other units as requested

  • Complete annual competency requirements

  • Maintain open communication with nursing administration

  • Accept other assigned duties within scope of care

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

  • Promote positive patient and staff interactions
