Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Morgantown, WV 26501Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $13.00 - $13.00 HourlyJob Specialist - Secure Document Destruction PACE Enterprises, Inc. | Morgantown, WV Looking for a hands-on job where you can stay active while making a difference? If you enjoy warehouse work, production, shipping and receiving, recycling, manufacturing, or working with your hands, this could be a great fit. As a Job Specialist in our Secure Document Destruction department, you'll work alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them learn job skills while processing confidential documents for businesses throughout the region. No previous job coaching experience is required. We provide paid training. What You'll Do Every day is a little different, but responsibilities include: Coach and encourage adults with disabilities as they learn workplace skills Process confidential documents for secure destruction Sort, move, and prepare materials for shredding Help keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Monitor quality and follow security procedures to protect confidential information Complete simple daily documentation on participant progress and behaviors Provide encouragement, redirection, and positive coaching throughout the workday Communicate with supervisors regarding participant progress or concerns Assist with loading and unloading secure document containers as needed Bonus Opportunity If you enjoy driving and have a good driving record, there may be opportunities to train as a Secure Document Driver (CSR) for additional responsibilities and pay. This is not required for this position. We're Looking For Someone Who Likes staying active instead of sitting behind a desk Enjoys teaching and encouraging others Has patience and a positive attitude Can work independently while also being part of a team Is dependable and pays attention to detail Understands the importance of confidentiality and security Is comfortable redirecting behaviors respectfully and professionally Physical Requirements This is an active position that includes standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and moving materials throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Able to stand and move throughout the workday The shredding facility can become warm during the summer months and may contain paper dust. This position may not be the best fit for individuals with significant dust allergies or sensitivities.
