Additional Job Description:

West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a General Neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.  
 

Ours is a collaborative atmosphere that allows practicing advanced medicine in a highly satisfying environment. We do so by recruiting some of the finest physicians from across the country – men and women who are often recognized leaders in their specialty or subspecialty; investing heavily in new technology; practicing – and frequently developing – the latest techniques and placing the highest emphasis on achieving great quality outcomes. Candidates will join an active team including neurologists, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in the areas of patient care, research and education.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a neurology residency program and must be board certified / eligible in neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
