Office Administrator

Status: Full Time, Non-exempt

Location: Moriarty, NM

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Who Are We:

Sceye is a high-growth technology company, building the next generation of instant communications, imaging and remote sensing infrastructure through stratospheric platforms.

Our lighter-than-air high-altitude platform systems (LTA HAPS) are capable of maintaining position over an operational area in the stratosphere (altitudes of 18–21km). They can carry multiple telecommunications, imaging and remote sensing payloads, providing unique functionality, cost, environmental and societal advantages.

Our HAPS can be deployed in a matter of days and at a fraction of the cost of traditional infrastructure solutions. This makes them an ideal solution for providing telecommunications connectivity, emergency solutions in the event of natural or other disasters, environmental and infrastructure monitoring, Earth observation and a range of defense applications.

Our customers & partners include some of the largest global telecommunications companies, infrastructure operators, climate researchers, civil and defense agencies.

At Sceye, we aim high, and we want you to join us at the stratospheric edge of innovation. As part of our mission-driven team, you'll contribute to building breakthrough technologies that are changing the way we connect and observe the world. We are looking for individuals who bring not only deep expertise but also bold vision and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Position Summary:

The Office Administrator keeps the Moriarty office running smoothly day to day. This role covers the basic functions every office depends on — greeting visitors, keeping supplies stocked, handling mail and deliveries, coordinating with building and facility vendors, and providing general administrative support across departments. You'll be the go-to person for “where do I find…” and “who do I ask about…” questions, and the first friendly face visitors and new hires see when they walk in.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for general office-related questions, requests, and issues.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned to support evolving business and operational needs.
  • Greet visitors, manage sign-in and badging, and coordinate incoming guests and deliveries.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, including flight coordination and booking support.
  • Order, stock, and track office and kitchen supplies; manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Serve as backup for lunch and kitchen operations when the Chef is unavailable, including coordinating and ordering employee lunches and maintaining adequate stock of snacks and beverages.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments.
  • Coordinate with building management and service vendors regarding repairs, cleaning, maintenance, and safety needs.
  • Set up and maintain conference rooms and common areas; provide logistical support for internal meetings, company events, and special functions.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to HR and other departments, including filing, data entry, scheduling, correspondence, and related administrative tasks.
  • Support new-hire logistics, including workspace setup, badges and keys, and first-day office orientation.
  • Reconcile the company credit card ledger, maintain accurate supporting documentation and receipts, and assist with ongoing administration and maintenance of company cards.
  • Maintain company swag inventory and coordinate with PR on swag needs, including sourcing/supply coordination, inventory tracking, and distribution to employees, guests, and company events.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming office environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree a plus
  • 3-5 years of office administration, front-desk, or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Friendly, professional communication style, in person and in writing
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
  • Dependable and comfortable being on-site every day — this is not a remote role

What We Offer:

At Sceye, we're building more than high-altitude platforms—we're building a workplace where people (and their pups) thrive. Here's what you'll enjoy:

  • Chef-Prepared Lunches – Fresh, onsite meals to keep you fueled and focused.
  • Snacks & Refreshments – Enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks available throughout the day.
  • Wellness Perks – Access to a gym, pickleball court, and an outdoor dog kennel.
  • Dog-Friendly Environment – Bring your four-legged friends to work and enjoy a pet-welcoming space.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage – Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, with over 82% of premiums covered—and 100% for everything else.
  • 401(k) with Match – Company contributions that are yours from day one.
  • High-Performance Culture – Join a collaborative, inclusive environment where your work helps shape the future of aerospace.
