The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-

• Design and develop a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which will store all critical data across the company’s Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data;

• Design, develop and implement methods, processes, tools and analyses that sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns;

• Participate in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via analytics and reporting;

• Conceive, plan, and deliver initiatives;

• Provide thought leadership within Information Management while also working on broader projects, which each requires an understanding of wider business practices and procedures;

• Deliver end-to-end business needs, from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production;

• Drive the adoption of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, which aims to automate and streamline the production of software code, while supporting and improving said tool sets and processes;

• Write working software that successfully integrates interrelated systems;

• Drive innovative analytical methods to better align information technology analytics with the company’s short-term and long-term goals by adopting software engineering best practices; and

• Design architecture to support various company organizations.

• The base annual salary for this position is $167,835 with standard company benefits.

Qualifications-

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, or related field;
• 3 years of experience in a related occupation;
• Or in the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience;
• AWS Certified Developer certification;
• Experience working with/in healthcare and insurance industry;
• Experience working with pharmacy client benefit applications;
• Experience assessing existing legacy systems and performing cross functional system level designs for client benefit digital modernization suite of projects;
• Experience conducting programs review and planning and designing projects;
• Experience customizing and implementing new testing automation framework;
• Experience testing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) services at scale with Restful Micro services architecture for new digital platform;
• Experience reviewing and monitoring all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, design, code development, testing, and implementation;
• Experience participating in agile planning meetings;
• Experience monitoring and resolving production bugs as part of Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) in agile methodology; and
• Experience using: Python, CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, REXX, Easytrieve, MQ Series, Java, Spring Boot, Restful Web Services, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, OpenShift, and AWS.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,200 - 217,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
