Summary

Entry-level state electrical journeyman with the ability to perform commercial or industrial electrical work with minimal supervision in a high-quality and safe manner.

Duties

• Maintains 80% production rate with proper tools and materials.
• Completes 8 hours of continuing education annually.
• 4+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 5 years performing quality electrical installations.
• OSHA 10 Hour Awareness Training.
• Installs and maintains electrical equipment (control panels, switchboards, etc.).
• Connects and disconnects electric powered machines.
• Repairs motors and generators.
• Replaces fuses and sets circuit breakers.
• Diagnoses electrical problems using wiring diagrams.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
• Provides guidance to junior electricians.
• Mentors apprentices.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Colorado State Journeyman License
• Working knowledge of NEC.
• Apprenticeship completion or 24 hours continuing education annually.
