Feed Haul Drivers are professional truck drivers responsible for transporting animal feed from feed mill facilities to farms. This position typically earns approximately $1,700/week, and works from approximately 11pm to 11 am Sunday through Thursday. They operate specialized trucks and ensure the safe and timely delivery of feed to poultry operations. In addition to driving, Feed Haul Drivers may load and unload feed, maintain delivery records, and perform basic vehicle inspections. This job requires a commercial driver's license (CDL) and knowledge of safety regulations related to transporting agricultural goods.
- Deliver feed between feed mills, growers and other required destinations.
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the safety of your loads.
- Comply with established Company fueling procedures.
- Communicate with dispatchers on a regular basis.
- Comply with DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
- 1+ year(s) verifiable commercial driving experience required.
- Clean motor vehicle driving record required.
