Job DetailsJob Location: Morristown, TN 37813Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.16 - $21.69 HourlyJob Shift: 3rd Shift  Job Title: Die Cast Operator Supervised By: Team Leader Responsibility for directing others: None Summary of Position: This position is responsible for the operation of one or more automatic multiple-mold casting machines to mold aluminum automotive parts. Essential Job Duties: • Operate one or more casting machines • Set controls, make machine adjustments, and align mold halves to ensure casting of part according to specified thickness • Adjust follow of lead to ladles and water to mold-cooling sprays. • Assist or perform machine set ups and tool changes. • Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance checks. • Assist in changing or setting molds. • Complete required paperwork. • Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. • Constantly position self to run/maintain die cast machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling). • Maintain 5S of multiple die cast machines. • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times. Qualifications• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime. • Ability to read and write the English language. • Withstand extreme temperatures (hot in summer, cold in winter). • Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
