Job DetailsJob Location: Kawasaki Tennessee Inc - Morristown, TN 37813Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $16.40 - $18.86 HourlyJob Shift: Able to Work Any ShiftJob Title: Machining Inspector-Operator Supervised By: Team Leader Responsibility for directing others: None Summary of Position: This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of machining tools to perform repetitive machining operations.   Essential Job Duties: • The set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations. • Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. • Perform routine maintenance on machinery. • Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines. • Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. • Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling). • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times. • Ability to work varying shifts and overtime. Qualifications Ability to read and write the English language. Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to pass drug screen/physical Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
