- Ensure the highest level of productivity in a cost-efficient manner.
- Supervise, coach and train employees, providing professional development through ongoing feedback of strengths and needed improvement.
- Promote safety throughout assigned work area.
- Develop and maintain employee relationships while promoting company values (i.e., good attendance, strong work ethic, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
- Plan and implement process improvements.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a related field of study preferred.
- 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient technology, computer, mathematical and analytical skills.
- General knowledge of production operations.
- Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs and HACCP.
