Job Summary
Eastern Janitorial Company is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Facility Cleaning Associates to join our team in Morris Plains, NJ. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for building occupants and visitors. We are currently hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time employees.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish assigned areas.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
- Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and entryways as needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and company procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies in good condition.
- Adhere to all safety policies and client requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
- Evening and weekend shifts may be available.
