Fox Appliance Parts is seeking a qualified Counter Sales Representative to offer excellent customer service, gain and share product knowledge, and provide an efficient and positive customer experience. This candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude, sense of urgency and high energy level, along with dependability, honesty, and integrity.

- Service in-store and telephone customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Provide counter sales support for appliance parts and HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies
- Determine correct replacement parts and HVAC components using model numbers, schematics, and technical documentation
- Generate quotes and process sales for HVAC equipment, and related accessories
- Use computer systems and catalog lookups to determine stock numbers, availability, and pricing
- Advise customers of substitutions, updated parts, or changes in equipment specifications
- Examine the condition of returned parts and determine eligibility for exchange or refund
- Maintain, monitor, clean, and stock inventory, merchandise displays, and workspace
- Accurately and efficiently enter sales orders into the computer system
- Process end-of-day cash reporting and reconciliation
- Manage shipments and coordinate delivery of goods and services
- Previous experience in HVAC equipment and parts sales strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and accessories
- Ability to read and interpret model numbers, parts diagrams, and technical documentation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, reach, sit, and walk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer-service focus
- Above-average organizational skills
- Ability to satisfy customer demand quickly and accurately
- Ability to follow directions of immediate supervisor and management
