  • Assist in continuous cost reduction of existing products while protecting or enhancing the organoleptic quality of products.
  • Utilize statistics to define physical parameters of developed products.
  • Accurate data entry and file maintenance.
  • Physical assistance in production line tests, commercialization of new products, and continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.
  • Other relevant duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Meat Science or other related fields of study required; Master of Science preferred.
  • Theoretical knowledge of further processing equipment and packaging
  • Bi-lingual language skills preferred
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of statistics
  • Willingness to work early morning and evening hours and weekends when necessary, and travel (approximately 30%)
  • Good communication skills, with ability to work with all levels of management
