Job DetailsJob Location: Jackpot Junction - Morton, MN 56270Position Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $21.50 - $42.78 HourlyJob Shift: Varies (+Weekends)ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Produce buffet food. Set up buffet server area by opening time. Run pizza station, hot left and back kitchen. Keep buffet area clean and organized. Work with all kitchen cooking equipment. Provide a consistently high level of service. Identify issues and suggest potential solutions. Promote an atmosphere of teamwork. Take direction from the Banquet Lead Cook. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a full-service restaurant required. Experience with buffet food and banquets preferred, but not required. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Adaptable and willing to embrace change. Able to connect and establish relationships with guests and team members. Quality-focused. Cheerful, upbeat attitude. Strong communication skills. Knowledge and usage of sanitation practices. Knowledge of basic culinary techniques (i.e. frying, boiling, roasting, etc.). Strong knife skills. Organized and time-efficient. Able to work under stressful conditions. UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. Regular attendance and punctuality. Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mobility throughout the facility. Able to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to tolerate heat. Good coordination and manual dexterity.
