Job DetailsJob Location: Jackpot Junction - Morton, MN 56270Position Type: Part-TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $29.85 HourlyJob Shift: Morning/Afternoon (+Weekends)ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Welcome guests to the store. Prepare beverages and serve food products according to department policies and procedures. Develop personal, ongoing relationships with customers. Float between cashier, barista and other duties as needed. Manage cash drawer, and follow all cash handling policies and procedures. Stock and organize store as needed. Ensure dining area is clean, free of debris and well maintained. Prepare product for later shifts. Weigh out beans for the rest of the day and the next shift. Maintain the look and feel of a well-run store. Assist with training new associates. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Previous barista and/or retail experience helpful (not required). SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong problem solving abilities. Knowledge of basic retail operations. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Able to work well both individually and as part of a team. Self-motivated and dependable. Neat, professional appearance. UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. Regular attendance and punctuality. Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Normal mobility throughout the facility. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend and stoop frequently. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
