Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats injured workers to restore functional abilities required for daily activities and job-specific tasks. This role focuses on upper extremity rehabilitation, functional capacity, ergonomics, and work conditioning to support safe, timely return-to-work outcomes in collaboration with providers, employers, and case managers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats injured workers to restore functional abilities required for daily activities and job-specific tasks. This role focuses on upper extremity rehabilitation, functional capacity, ergonomics, and work conditioning to support safe, timely return-to-work outcomes in collaboration with providers, employers, and case managers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, including functional and job-demand assessmentsÂ
- Develop individualized treatment plans emphasizing functional restoration and return-to-work goalsÂ
- Provide interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, activity simulation, and modalitiesÂ
- Conduct upper extremity rehabilitation (e.g., hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder conditions)Â
- Perform functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) and work conditioning/work hardening programsÂ
- Assess and recommend ergonomic modifications and job task adaptationsÂ
- Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, and home exercise programsÂ
- Monitor progress, reassess, and adjust treatment plans as appropriateÂ
- Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately and timely in the EHRÂ
- Collaborate with providers on work status, restrictions, and care plansÂ
- Communicate with employers, case managers, and adjusters as appropriateÂ
- Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation guidelines and clinical protocolsÂ
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe treatment environmentÂ
- Participate in quality improvement, outcomes tracking, and program development
Bonuses Based on Performance: All therapist positions have a conversion to performance based income potential. Wage ranges provided are based on guaranteed salary scales. All therapist will be expected to convert to a performance based income model after a period of reasonable time to evaluate client base growth and performance. Income potential on a performance based model is not capped. Â

Qualifications, Education, and ExperienceÂ
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programÂ
- Minimum of 2–4 years of clinical experience preferredÂ
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or ergonomics certification (preferred)Â
- Experience in occupational medicine, industrial rehab, or employer-based programs (preferred)Â
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standingÂ
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation, hand therapy, or occupational healthÂ
- Proficiency with EHR systems and documentation standardsÂ
- Knowledge of FCEs, work conditioning, and ergonomic assessments (preferred)
