This position is in the Drivetrain Systems and Software Team and will be responsible for leading the development of hydrostatic transmission controls. This position would experience a combination of technical leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with various team members to ensure optimal performance and quality of transmission systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides technical leadership in the design, development, and enhancement of electro-mechanical systems to optimize products and system.
  • Lead multiple programs and be responsible for identifying deliverables, specifying and tracking budget, developing the software and performing verification testing
  • Providing technical leadership in designing and implementing software and procedures to control and enhance electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices performance in collaboration with scientists.
  • Providing technical leadership in designing and prototyping mechatronic devices with motors, solenoids, gears, sensors, and springs.
  • Provide technical direction in Identifying and addressing areas of product weakness in finished products.

What You Will Have:

  • Analytical Thinking: Expertise of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Problem Solving: Extensive knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications; ability to develop embedded systems with varying levels of complexity to control the operations of the machine it is embedded within.
  • Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Top candidates will have:

  • Advanced degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science
  • Extensive engineering experience is typically aligned with the seniority for this position
  • Significant experience using MATLAB/Simulink for software development.
  • Extensive knowledge of software tools such as Git, CANalyzer, CANape, Software Debugger
  • Extensive knowledge of hydraulics and controls.
  • CAN/J1939 communication protocols

Additional Details:

  • This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office.
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
