Lorien Mount Airy is hiring an Activities Assistant!

As an Activities Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our community, planning and leading programs that foster connection, wellness, and fun.

Compensation

  • $16.00– $16.50 per hour (based on experience)

  • Shift differentials

  • Same Day Pay for all employees

Responsibilities

Activities Assistant – Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be enthusiastic, creative, resourceful, and consistently positive

  • Follow a daily activity calendar designed for residents with varying physical and mental abilities

  • Lead a wide variety of programs including games, crafts, discussion groups, themed parties, and special performances

  • Encourage resident participation and foster social interaction

  • Adapt activities to meet individual resident needs and abilities

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and supplies

  • ❤️ Support a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive community environment

Qualifications

 

Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.

 

  • Part-Time, PRN
  • Schedule: Weekends 
  • Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
