Job Summary:
Assist in the supervision and leadership of the machine operations area. Help ensure timely production of quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Responsible for performing manual and machine tasks in the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery to accurately produce products to customer specifications.
Essential Responsibilities:

- It helps assign tasks to workers and specific workflow coordination methods to meet production schedules.
- Consult with the daily schedule to determine workload and production performance expectations.
- Visually inspect finished parts to ensure product quality.
- Works with quality control to oversee production. Participates in the evaluation/qualification of each project to detect standard deviations and imperfections.
- Consult with other team leaders/supervisors to coordinate the activities of individual departments.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- It communicates and relates to all levels of the organization.
- It helps staff machines appropriately to meet workload requirements and productivity standards.
- Reads the work order of the job to determine specifications and setup instructions; Verify that the finished product matches the supplied sample.
- Make routine adjustments during every job and maintain production throughout the run.
- Observes and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and determine if adjustments are needed.
- Open machines and remove/replace damaged products, using hand tools.
- Performs all assigned work effectively and on time.
- Maintains standards of preparation and operation while producing quality products.
- Follow the instructions precisely.
- Keeps records of daily production, using specified forms.
- Record production information, such as the amount of time spent on specific tasks.
- Supervises the team working on the machine/work area.
- Keeps the work area tidy and clean.
- Empower workers to set up, operate, and use machines.
- Identifies troubleshooting needs and communicates with the maintenance team.
- Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers (in all departments) as needed to maximize production efficiency
- Follows all standard operating procedures, established department policies, work instructions, and safety and environmental guidelines
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Â
- HighSchool Diploma or G.E.D. diploma preferably
- 1 year of manufacturing experience with operating equipment comparable to those in our facilities.
- You must have demonstrated ability to perform the jobs you are supervising or to quickly gain a working knowledge of those jobs.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of the machine operation process and equipment.
- It must have the ability to encourage teamwork and motivate individual artists.
- You must be able to relate effectively to others at all levels of the organization.
- Must have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You must be able to work well in a team environment and independently.
- The company's leadership and decisions must be identified and supported.
- You must have the ability to network with peers and associates to build collaborative relationships.

- You must have a very solid technical knowledge of the operation of the machine.

- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer skills: data entry.
- You must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read a rule.
- Possess the following competencies: accuracy, reliability, decision-making, time management, and self-motivation.
- You must be able to maintain good attendance.
- Must be able to work the required hours.Â
