Job Description: 

Liquid Personnel is seeking three experienced Occupational Therapists to join a community-based adult social care team in West Cornwall, with coverage across the county. This role focuses on delivering optimal care while supporting our client's savings targets for 2025/26.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face assessments with a strengths-based approach to promote independence
  • Support individuals in reducing reliance on care packages through tailored interventions
  • Provide effective advice and guidance following assessments
  • Recommend and arrange provision of appropriate equipment and adaptations
  • Undertake carer’s assessments and reviews in line with statutory and operational standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver person-centred care
  • Manage a caseload with flexibility in how cases are distributed across the team

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working in community settings, preferably within Adult Social Care
  • Ability to conduct face-to-face visits each week
  • Strong understanding of equipment provision, housing adaptations, and carer support
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing
