At Home Helpers Home Care of Belmont, we believe exceptional care begins with exceptional leadership. We're looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about helping seniors and supporting caregivers while ensuring our clients receive the highest quality care possible.

As our Service Supervisor, you'll be the clinical leader of our agency—building relationships with clients and families, mentoring caregivers, and ensuring services are delivered with excellence, compassion, and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct initial client assessments and develop individualized Plans of Care.
  • Complete supervisory visits, reassessments, and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with North Carolina home care regulations and Home Helpers standards.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate caregivers.
  • Provide clinical guidance and problem-solving support to caregivers in the field.
  • Collaborate with scheduling staff to ensure clients receive appropriate caregiver matches based on skills, personality, and care needs.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns.
  • Communicate regularly with physicians, therapists, hospice agencies, hospitals, and community partners.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and agency performance improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within our electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with caregiver orientation and ongoing education.
  • Support occasional after-hours clinical calls or emergencies as needed.
Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience (home care, hospice, geriatrics, case management, or community health preferred).
  • Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout our service area.
  • Proficient with computers and electronic documentation.
