Environmental Technician II

Description

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Environmental team. Selected candidate will oversee tank monitoring, EPA regulations, compliance and reporting. Prior DEQ experience not required but helpful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform line and DEQ compliance testing
• Complete and file all necessary compliance paperwork
• Achieve and maintain all necessary certifications to include Class A, B, and C Virginia UST

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
• Dependable and organized
• Mechanically inclined
• The ability to lift, bend, and move objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM with the opportunity for overtime.

Starting pay: $19.00 per hour. Higher starting rates may be considered based on relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications.
