Facilities Maintenance Technician

Full Time

6:30am - 3:00pm, Weekdays

On call 24-7, including weekends and holidays

Work in Mount Joy and Lancaster offices regularly, Harrisburg office 1-2 times per month, York office as needed

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prioritizes, plans, and completes assigned facility maintenance tasks, equipment repairs and replacements in a timely manner.

Inspects, monitors, performs required testing on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire, safety, security, and mechanical equipment.

Maintains computerized maintenance program and building automation systems.

Conducts routine safety inspections, life safety testing, and regulatory compliance activities in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health, OSHA, and facility standards. 

Coordinate and oversee outside contractors, preventative maintenance services, inspections, and repair projects. 

Performs daily facility walkthrough and grounds inspection. (Mount Joy location)

Assist with emergency on-call maintenance needs, snow removal, and weather-related facility responses as required. 

Support facility operations through room setup, event support, supply distribution, and departmental coordination. 

Collaborate with Facilities Management on maintenance planning, budgeting, safety compliance, and improvement projects. 

Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, certifications, and compliance documentation. 

Qualifications:

Must be a high school graduate, have GED, or have trade school diploma. 

Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle are required

Computer Maintenance Management Software experience required

2+ years of maintenance technician experience preferred

EPA Section 608 certification preferred

Able to lift 40 pounds and climb a small ladder or utilize a step stool
