Who we are looking for?
We are looking for Maintenance Technicians at multiple facilities to support our growth. There are openings in Manheim, Mount Joy, Middletown, and Lebanon. We have a variety of automation, conveyor systems, and state-of-art robotic packaging and palletizing equipment in our Egg Processing/Packaging plants. The schedule would be 40+ hours per week, 4 (10 hour) days per week, and rotating every 3rd weekend.
Responsibilities:- Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
- Maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement
- Troubleshoot/Diagnose/Repair electrical and mechanical issues
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems is preferred
- 1 - 3 year of Industrial Maintenance experience including areas of mechanical/electrical, general maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work
- Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician, etc.) are a plus
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively diagnose and resolve issues
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
