Kreider Farms is a third-generation family-owned business focused in dairy and egg production, and nestled in the heart of Lancaster County. Who we are looking for?

We are looking for Maintenance Technicians at multiple facilities to support our growth. There are openings in Manheim, Mount Joy, Middletown, and Lebanon. We have a variety of automation, conveyor systems, and state-of-art robotic packaging and palletizing equipment in our Egg Processing/Packaging plants. The schedule would be 40+ hours per week, 4 (10 hour) days per week, and rotating every 3rd weekend.

Responsibilities:
  •  Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
  •  Maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement
  •  Troubleshoot/Diagnose/Repair electrical and mechanical issues
  •  Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
  •  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  •  Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  •   Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems is preferred
  •  1 - 3 year of Industrial Maintenance experience including areas of mechanical/electrical, general maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work
  •  Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  •  Relevant certifications (e.g., Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician, etc.) are a plus
  •  Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively diagnose and resolve issues
  •  Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights)
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills
